Nokia N78 Hands-On
Well, it looks like the N78’s started shipping, if a recent post on Engadget is anything to go by. Their quick first impressions review scratches the surface of the new quad-band candy bar, and goes something like this:
"Though we can’t recommend this unit without reservation, it’s certainly one of the hottest phones for its form factor going."

In slightly more detail, the post outlines some interface problems with geotagging and photo uploading, as well as general problems with the navi-wheel. On the plus side, Maps 2.0 is scarily accurate, the screen works well indoors and out, and the whole phone is nicely sized.
What was not mentioned by Engadget, and which I am pretty anxious to hear about, is the embedded FM transmitter. (The transmitter allows you to wirelessly broadcast your tunes to any radio such as the one in your car, for example) It’s a feature that you rarely see in mp3 players, let alone mobile phones.
Check out Engadget for the rest of the scoop and a plethora of high-quality pix.
