The results are in and news now hitting the smartphone world is that Nokia is slipping down from the peak of the mountain while Apple and RIM work their way to the top. With only the iPhone and iPhone 3G, Apple has managed to step over RIM’s shoulders to take the number two spot in the smartphone world with 17.3% of the market share. Flickr has a new mobile website, which now works much better on the iPhone/iPod Touch. Located at m.flickr.com , the revamped mobile site is rich in JavaScript usage, assuring the whole page doesn’t refreshes that often. Rather, Yahoo-owned image service serves results in the same window, making photo sets easier to browse. In addition, all photos are automatically scaled to fit the screen.
