Honda S3000: Taking shape to take over the next decadeBy Gadgetboy on September 25th, 2008 | No Comments
The Beast: Honda has already stolen hearts with the S2000 model and rumor has it that the top men at the Honda headquarters are sketching an Open Study Model concept car to take the high-end Honda series into the next decade. The S3000 will be the Honda that will compete with the best of the BMWs and Ferraris in terms of sportscar performance and we are already getting the probable look of the car. While the image of the depicted S3000 is just a rendition by basing the S2000 design as the prototype, it gives an early and fairly accurate impression of what we can expect from the S3000. The Ma... -
Saathi: An amazing transportation innovation from India!By Gadgetboy on August 7th, 2008 | No Comments
This is one of the best concept designs that I have seen recently and that is simple because it does not claim to either fly in the sky or do something extraordinary. We live in a real world with real people who face constant ‘real’ problems and Argus aims at exactly solving those problems instead of making up fancy designs which are never going to materialize in to anything substantial or even meaningful. ‘Saathi’ in Hindi is buddy and this simple yet very useful vehicle is an absolute friend that aids you whenever you need a helping hand in stuff beyond transportat... -
The Supercar Club - Every car lover’s dreamBy Gadgetboy on July 29th, 2008 | No Comments
Not many can afford to buy every exotic car on this planet like some of the lucky guys, for example, the sultan of Brunei. The Super Car club in Australia helps car freaks drive all the cars in its fleet for a yearly membership fee. Some of the cars in its fleet are Audi R8, Ferrari F430 Spider, Aston Martim V8 Vantage, Porche 911 turbo etc. The club is currently functional at Melbourne, Sydney and Gold Coast. However, they plan to extend the services to Perth and Adelaide as well, by 2009. Many of the cars also earn money for the members. Members also have to go through a driving course ... -
Lexus LF-A Roadster Concept reaches 200mphBy Gadgetboy on July 26th, 2008 | No Comments
If you had been looking for a great roadster, your search might just end here. Lexus’ LF-A roadster is one of their boldest ever concepts to be developed. It sort of maintains a low profile though it has a sleek and aerodynamic shape. The body uses carbon fiber and aluminum. The most interesting feature about this car has to be the speed adaptive rear wing. It runs on a V10 engine and is capable of over 500 horsepower. You can race across tracks at over 200mph. This is one of those red racecars that any movie star would love to drive along the sea front in Monte Carlo. The rest of us ca... -

Hummer H3T Concept unveiled!By Gadgetboy on July 21st, 2008 | No Comments
Now I really do not expect you to know this nor do I expect you to remember this in any way, but it was around a couple of months back that I was so haunted by the Hummer that it almost felt as if a Hummer curse was put on me as each and every day we had something to write about either some new ugly modification of a Hummer or just how bad it actually is for the planet. It has been a long time since and now the Hummer is back. Not to say that the gasoline guzzling monster was ever out of the news but just the sheer fact that I was out of this place for a while. This piece of news though ... -
Samsung TL9 camera sports car gaugesBy Gadgetboy on July 19th, 2008 | No Comments
The Samsung TL9 camera is definitely inspired by your dashboard, which is kinda cool. Otherwise it’s pretty ho-hum as far as camera specs. Some specs include: 10-megapixel resolution, a 2.7 inch LCD, 5x optical zoom, maximum ISO of 1600, and Dual Image Stabilization. Interestingly, it features MP3/PMP capability. The two empty/full analog gauges show the remaining battery life and memory storage. The Samsung TL9 is priced at $280. Perfect for those who are only capable of reading gauges and have been confused by every other camera that ever was. [Uncrate] Share and Enjoy: ... -
BlueSky Bluetooth Rear View MirrorBy Gadgetboy on July 18th, 2008 | No Comments
BlueSky has come up with quite an interesting Bluetooth product, namely the BlueSky 1001A. The 1001A is a Bluetooth rear view mirror that can be fastened to the existing rear view mirror of your car via spring-loaded clips. A quick pair with your Bluetooth phone will allow it to be used just like any other Bluetooth speakerphone. The 1001A can (and will) also display who’s calling, and includes handy buttons for answering a call, call waiting, redialing, adjusting the volume, and even record and playback parts of a conversion for later listening. Top Gear Races GT-R Vs. Bullet Train In JapanBy Gadgetboy on July 15th, 2008 | No Comments
The Top Gear crew is in Japan for this week’s episode and they’ve got another heated race for us. A Nissan GT-R R35 vs. a bullet train, spanning from Japan’s northern Hakui-Shi coast to Tokyo. With no surprise ol’ Clarkson is driving the fiery beast while Hammond and May are left traveling Japanese public transportation. I’m not gonna spoil the race for ya though I will give you a hint. If you know Top Gear at all the end is no surprise but somehow still feels like a surprise, if that makes sense. [Jalopnik] Share and Enjoy: ... -
Hybrid car/motorcycle by CarverBy Gadgetboy on July 15th, 2008 | No Comments
If you like the fuel-efficiency of a motorcycle and the comfort of a car, the Carver One might be what you’re looking for. The Carver One is a hybrid car/motorcycle that is compact and fuel-efficient. It only has three wheels and uses Dynamic Vehicle Control to bank the vehicle around turns. Just like if it was a bike and had only two wheels. The body is 11.2 feet long, 4.3 feet wide, and 4.6 feet high, so I would image it would be easy to park on a small crowded street. The driver seat is said to be comfortable, but the optional backseat leaves much to be desired. The Carver’s speed max...
