According to a T-Mobile spokesperson, T-Mobile is suspending the sale of the Nokia 5610 XpressMusic handset and recalling the entire 5610 inventory, including floor demos and literature, from all stores and warehouses. The issue appears to be a manufacturing problem that affects the display. Nokia has now fixed the error in the current crop of 5610s but the T-Mobile’s supply were all manufactured prior to the fix and still have the design flaw. Two Nokia Symbian S60 smartphones were honered by Wired Magazine’s test issue. The first of the two is the Nokia E71, which I’m currently testing and honestly I’m not surprised to see it praised by Wired. The device nabbed the “Test Best Cell Phone” title, scoring nine out of 10, in the November issue, which is on newsstands now.
