Wonder if Nokia is working on 12.1 megapixel phone

Nokia unveiled its new naming scheme for the XpressMusic, shortened to the Xseries. To celebrate this, the first Xseries smartphone is the X6. This full touchscreen device is powered by Symbian^1 (also known as S60 5th Edition) and features a large 3.2-inch nHD (640×360 pixels) resolution touchscreen display.
The Nokia X6 features a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual-LED flash, as well as a standard 3.5mm audio port, 32GB internal storage and built-in GPS receiver. The X6 will be available in two variants, with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and tri-band 3G (900/1900/2100MHz or 850/1900/2100MHz).
The Nokia X6 is planned to be available during Q4 2009, priced at EUR459.

Vonage submitted its iPhone app to the store to go thru the approval process. One short week later, they say they are approved.
Vonage is the second big VoIP company (almost 3 million US subscribers) to have an iPhone and iPod touch application. Skype, which Ebay sold today to private investors for $2 Billion, was the first.
There are many other VoIP services on the iPhone but they all have one thing in common: They are all only allowed to function on Wifi. Vonage will be no exception. While it hasn’t shown up in our app store, it is expected to by the end of the week.
Social review service Yelp has snuck the first Augmented Reality (AR) iPhone app specifically for the US into the iTunes App Store. The undisclosed new feature allows iPhone 3Gs owners to shake their phones three times to turn on a view called “the Monocle.” This view uses the phone’s GPS and compass to display markers for restaurants, bars and other nearby businesses on top of the camera’s view.
Many thanks to Steve Garfield for the demo video.

If you one of those eager people who can not wait to put your hands on the HTC Hero then you can buy it now. One of the online retailers myworldphone.com has is for sale now for only $579.00. I think the price is pretty steep but again if you want to be one of the first people to have the latest gadget then you have to pay the top price.

When Qik hit the iTunes App Store a few weeks back cries of outrage rang out at the fact that it was limited to live streaming on Wifi only. but now there is a update availabe in the App Store for Qik which will allow live streaming over 3G
I am very happy about this since i do use Qik alot not sure who should i thank Apple or Qik or should i give a big hug to ATT. I think at the end of the day it is all about FCC looking into google voice app cause all this good stuff to happen.

iPhone developers, the App Store’s overheated competition and bloated inventory have led to scorched-earth pricing that makes it virtually impossible to parlay mobile development into a valid for-profit business model without turning to subscriptions or in-app advertising. RIM’s tried to nip that behavior in the bud by capping the minimum sale price at $2.99, and it sounds like Microsoft feels the same way in light of the flowery, motivational language being thrown the way of developers at learning sessions ahead of theMarketplace’s launch.
