Nokia E71, N82 Win Awards by Wired MagazineBy Gadgetboy on November 4th, 2008 | No Comments
Two Nokia Symbian S60 smartphones were honered by Wired Magazine’s test issue. The first of the two is the Nokia E71, which I’m currently testing and honestly I’m not surprised to see it praised by Wired. The device nabbed the “Test Best Cell Phone” title, scoring nine out of 10, in the November issue, which is on newsstands now. On the other end, Nokia N82 was awarded the “Test Best Camera Phone” accolade. Again, there’s nothing surprising here as we know the N82 packs a 5 megapixel camera with Xenon flash. source: intomobile.com ... -

T-Mobile Becomes Less Budget, Increases Price on Data PlansBy Gadgetboy on October 27th, 2008 | No Comments
Before T-Mobile customers start cheering for the long-awaited 3G services which began rolling out earlier this year , they might want to stop and think twice as rumors surface that T-Mobile plans to increase their data packages as early as the beginning of November. The cost of supporting the 3G network is now being passed on to consumers. Some people will not be affected, such as Blackberry users who want unlimited data and unlimited messaging. Included among some of the changes is a data cap for T-Mobile Shadow users, at 50 MB and 100 MB respectively. Current T-Mobile customers who are plan... -
Breaking News: Spy shots of Nokia E63By Gadgetboy on October 22nd, 2008 | No Comments
As part of the whole discussion on the leaked Nokia promotional video about a month ago, the existence of the mysterious Eseries phone, the E63, has come to light. Much of the phone still remains a mystery but we do have some new spy shots to confirm its existence and few leaked details on the handset itself courtesy of the Telefon-Tredd.de forums. This is all rumor so take it with a healthy grain of salt. The Nokia E63 is purported to come in three variants: the E63-1: for Europe, the E63-2: without a camera and more memory (?), and E63-3: for the Americas. According to a user agent profi... -
LG Renoir officially launchesBy Gadgetboy on October 6th, 2008 | No Comments
While we heard about it last week, LG has officially announced the Renoir today. Also known as the LG KC910, this handset is rather impressive and takes great strides toward bringing LG into the limelight. This phone most notably features an 8-megapixel camera. And while this couldn’t exactly compete with a digital camera, it is still primed for taking great shots on the fly. Funnily enough, the megapixel count is the majority of the focus in promotional materials. However, this phone does sport a few other cool features. For instance, the LG Renoir has 3G HSDPA, WiFi, and A-GPS. It als... -

tmonews.com folks have did it again Well for most of us, there are 22 days left till the G1 launches. Breaking News : Nokia Tube Launching on 2nd OctBy Gadgetboy on September 23rd, 2008 | No Comments
After months of speculation and leaks, Nokia will finally launch its first mass market touchscreen mobile phone on 2 October, Pocket-lint can exclusively reveal. The "Tube" as it is currently known, although it will likely launch under the XpressMusic sub-brand, is due to be announced at a London event for the introduction of Nokia’s Comes With Music service, but will see a global launch at the same time.
