    Sony Ericsson is apparently in talks to acquire BK Modi’s Spice Mobile - which is the handset company of the Modi group, and sells handsets under the Spice brand. A top source in the Spice group confirmed the development and said that while talks were on, the deal had not been finalised. The source also added that initially, Spice Mobile had approached Sony Ericsson for a ‘wide-ranging collaboration and partnership’, but as the talks progressed, it was felt that an acquisition would suit both companies better.     You have to wonder. Why does Sony Ericsson have so many leaked handsets, and yet not a single one has been announced or made available? Anyway, here’s another one. The mysterious Sony Ericsson Walkman phone codenamed Alicia that we first told you about from a while back has been identified as the Sony Ericsson W707, and as you can see from the photo is a flip-type phone. The specs could do a bit of improvement, though, as the Sony Ericsson W707 only features a 3.2 megapixel camera without autofocus, only one speaker, and ho-hum screens.     Almost a month ago we posted one of the first Sony Ericsson BeiBei leaked photos . As far as we know, the upcoming device will run the latest version of UIQ (3.3 ) on top of Symbian OS, and will also boast such things as some camera (we’re not sure about the megapixel count), Wifi and Bluetooth. We would certainly like to see HSDPA on the list too, but we’re not sure about that one either.
