  • Verizon will give Sprint some QChat competition
By Gadgetboy on June 10th, 2008 | No Comments Comments
Sprint and Verizon have always been bitter rivals, engaging in price wars, coverage wars, and device wars. The two use CDMA, and both have the same technologies, and they both have the same pool of phones to choose from to carry. So when Sprint announced they would be using QChat to provide the next generation of push to talk service, it only figured Verizom would as well. Sprint will have theirs first, but they better hurry and make the market share they will need. That is because after Sprint launches QChat in 5 days, Verizon will follow in a few months. Even this screen shot shows Sprint is aiming the device at the iPhone, it has the features to back it up as well. With its speedy EV-DO Rev. A connectivity , it blows the iPhone’s EDGE out of the water. Also, the device features true GPS, and most other features are comparable betwee...
  • Sprint joins the party unlimited data = 5gb
By Gadgetboy on May 21st, 2008 | No Comments Comments
We think it’s officially time for all major US carriers to be prohibited from using the word “Unlimited” in their data plan marketing materials.
